Burkesville-Cumberland County Industrial Development Authority Launches Website to Help Tell the World Their Story

New Website Serves Multiple Purposes for a Variety of Audiences

BURKESVILLE, KY -- The Burkesville-Cumberland County Industrial Development Authority recently launched a newly designed website, created by Golden Shovel Agency, to further strengthen its online presence and economic growth for the region. The website serves as a portal to the community that will showcase all that is great about living in Burkesville and Cumberland County.

“We wanted the new site to serve multiple purposes,” said Dr. Elijah Wilson, University of Kentucky Extension Agent and Member of the Burkesville-Cumberland County IDA. “We wanted it to be a resource for people who are looking to start or relocate a business in our community. We also wanted it to be designed so that people who want to visit can easily find lodging and recreational opportunities.

The development of this new website is the result of strategic planning and ongoing collaboration with the Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce, the Burkesville-Cumberland County Tourism Commission, and the Industrial Development Authority.

In addition to targeting external audiences, partnering organizations wanted the site to help facilitate communication and collaboration among people who live in Burkesville and Cumberland County. The site features links to both educational and government resources, as well as listings for available jobs and both commercial and residential real estate. The new website does a phenomenal job of showing why Burkesville and Cumberland County is a great place to do business, raise a family, or visit.
