City of Elk River Launches Redesigned Website

ELK RIVER, MN -- The City of Elk River recently launched a redesigned website to further strengthen its online presence and economic growth. The newly redesigned website includes an updated homepage with videos and better organization of relevant content.

“The opening video montage on our homepage was a priority that showcased the Elk River community. It is important to keep our website fresh, current, and easy to navigate. I’ll proudly say that our new site is a great representation of Elk River,” said Colleen Eddy, Economic Development Specialist at the City of Elk River.

In addition to updating content and flow, the newly redesigned website also includes a simplified Business Toolbox page and highlights the Business Visit videos on a new page. Overall, the City of Elk River aims to showcase the amenities and quality of life it has to offer.

The City of Elk River collaborated with Golden Shovel Agency for its redesign project. The national economic development communications firm is recognized for its award-winning design and expertise in business and workforce attraction. “Golden Shovel Agency really gets economic development! We appreciate that they share ideas, insights, and what’s best in the industry,” said Colleen.
