Designed in collaboration with Golden Shovel Agency, the new site is a hub for existing businesses and residents as well as a tool to attract new development
Whitehall, MT – Jefferson Local Development Corporation (JLDC), a nonprofit committed to promoting and enhancing the welfare of Jefferson County through economic development, has announced the launch of a new website designed to foster collaboration and engagement among community members, support existing businesses, and attract new business to the county. Designed in collaboration with Golden Shovel Agency, the leading marketing and communications partner exclusively dedicated to economic development, the new site is a modern, user-friendly showcase for all that Jefferson County has to offer, from job and development opportunities to workforce support and a guide to living in the county.
“Our community is full of such wonderful people, businesses, and opportunities, and we wanted a website that would help us create connections and inspire people from different parts of the community to work together while also ensuring that our entire business community feels supported and engaged,” said Samantha Yearry, Executive Director, Jefferson Local Development Corporation. “I love our new site because it showcases everything we have to offer as a corporation, a community and a county – from opportunities to start and expand businesses to the beauty of the landscape, citizens, and spirit.”
Golden Shovel worked with JLDC to create a modern website that is easy to navigate across all devices. The site gives visitors easy access to information about available properties alongside demographic information that will help developers identify opportunities in the county. The site also highlights the advantages of living and working in the county and provides resources for individuals seeking work.
“From natural beauty to a strong and growing business community and friendly residents, Jefferson County has so much to offer, and we’re proud to have played a role in highlighting its many assets,” said Bethany Quinn, President, Golden Shovel Agency. “We’ve loved working with the staff at JLDC and we look forward to seeing how this site supports and enhances the excellent work they were already doing to improve their communities.”
“We love how user-friendly these sites are, and how easy it is for users to find what they’re looking for, whether that’s information about members or new real estate listings and job openings ” Yearry said. “Golden Shovel has been a pleasure to work with from the first meeting. They heard our vision and then went out and delivered it. I’m excited to see how our community uses this site.”
