At the Beach and in the Water

Three regional parks - Baylor, Minnewashta and Waconia - include sandy beaches open through Labor Day to soak up the sun and cool off in refreshing waters.
Kayak, canoe, paddleboard, and rowboat rentals are available on weekends at Lake Minnewashta and Lake Waconia. The Minnesota River Bluffs Regional Trail runs nearly ten miles along the Minnesota River from Carver to Chaska, connecting to seemingly endless paths on other trail systems in the area.
