Tourism Storytelling Helped Roswell Win the National Air Races

Roswell’s airport was long seen as just a repair hub. By repositioning it as a venue for world-class events, the Roswell-Chaves County EDC, with Golden Shovel’s help, secured the National Championship Air Races starting in 2025. The effort also earned an IEDC award, proving that bold storytelling can elevate a community from overlooked to globally recognized.
