Mt. Sterling-Montgomery County Chamber launches two new sites to support business development

New websites for the chamber and its economic development program put tools and resources front and center for business decision makers

Mt. Sterling, KY – Mt. Sterling-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, the driving force behind business attraction, industry expansion, and economic growth in the region, has announced the launch of two new websites designed to expand and enhance the organization’s efforts to attract and drive business growth. Designed in partnership with Golden Shovel Agency, the leading marketing and communications partner exclusively dedicated to economic development, the new site is designed to be a modern, user-friendly gateway to the organization’s essential services including site selection tools and business attraction resources. 

Golden Shovel worked with the Chamber of Commerce to redesign and update its existing website and add a new site focused specifically on the organization’s economic development efforts. The two sites work in tandem to highlight development opportunities alongside the benefits of living and working in the community. 

“For some of the businesses we’re working with, these sites might be the first introduction they have to Mt. Sterling and Montgomery County, and we wanted to ensure they looked inviting, were easy to navigate, and put essential information front and center to help us attract new and expanding businesses,” said Jason Rainey, Executive Director, Mt. Sterling-Montgomery Economic Development & Chamber of Commerce. “These two websites will elevate our marketing efforts by reflecting an intentional focus on creating a great customer experience for existing members and key industrial members of our community, and providing key tools to decision-makers who are considering our community to grow their business and create meaningful jobs.” 

The redesigned websites feature:

• Clean, intuitive navigation for ease of use across devices;
• Easy access to information about incentives, location advantages, and available building sites;
• Updated content and visuals that showcase Mt. Sterling and Montgomery County’s lifestyle, festivals, and business-friendly climate; and
• Dedicated resources for businesses, entrepreneurs, and residents.

The websites were designed from the ground up as essential elements of a broader strategic marketing effort intended to position Mt. Sterling and Montgomery County for success. Golden Shovel drew upon its experience working with the site selectors who help choose where businesses locate to create sites that put development and business attraction tools front and center.
