Kate Benz

Kate Benz joined Golden Shovel Agency in October 2024. She holds a double major in Communications and Philosophy from Carlow University and is a certified Dale Carnegie Coach. In 2022, her first non-fiction book, Nothing but the Dirt: Stories from an American Farm Town, was published by the University Press of Kansas and received a 2023 Kansas Notable Book award. Kate’s role involves crafting articles, websites, blogs, and social media posts that showcase the remarkable work of Golden Shovel’s clients. Based in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Kate enjoys hiking, kayaking, and exploring the makeup aisle during trips to town.
