Ashley Mott

Ashley Mott joined Golden Shovel Agency in September 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Columbia College, Missouri, along with certifications in social media strategy from Poynter-Gatehouse and Project Management from Google/Coursera. In 2009, she started writing small business explainers and evergreen content for various agencies before transitioning to a seven-year career in regional print media with
Gannett. As a copywriter, Ashley conducts interviews and research to craft engaging articles and social posts for economic development organizations. Based in the Monroe, LA area, Ashley enjoys reading, watching classic TV and films, and spending time with her cats. She also loves road trips, family game nights, and scrapbooking.
