Tre Akins

Tre Akins joined Golden Shovel in October 2024. He holds a BS in ass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a certified Workshop Facilitator from AJ & Smart. With experience in workforce and economic development, Tre previously worked as a Business Consultant for Web and Digital Marketing at Ironistic, as well as a Project Manager and Strategic Advisor at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. His responsibilities include managing client relationships, improving website performance, and creating fresh content. Tre is passionate about bringing new jobs and economic projects to communities. Based in Charleston, SC, Tre enjoys spending time on the beach, riding his motorcycle, and attending live music shows.
