Erica Stuart-Franks is a GateKeeper Client Manager & Strategist at Golden Shovel Agency, where she helps communities enhance their digital presence to drive economic growth. Since joining the team, she has leveraged her expertise in marketing strategy, SEO, and nonprofit digital engagement to develop tailored solutions that support economic development organizations. Her work focuses on optimizing websites, refining digital strategies, and ensuring clients effectively connect with their audiences.

Erica’s experience spans multiple industries, from leading marketing initiatives for nonprofits to supporting city planning efforts in the Tulsa Mayor’s Office. She has co-presented at national conferences on SEO and Google Ad Grants for nonprofits and has worked with small businesses, tourism organizations, and real estate professionals to develop impactful marketing campaigns.

Beyond her work with Golden Shovel, Erica is deeply involved in community-driven initiatives. She serves on the Happy Camp FireWise Community Advisory Committee, working to secure funding for wildfire recovery and economic revitalization. She is also a partner in the Happy Camp Long Term Recovery Group, supporting efforts to rebuild and stabilize the region following the 2020 Slater Fire.

Erica holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from California State University, Chico, graduating Cum Laude. She has earned multiple certifications in digital marketing, project management, and grant writing. A member of the American Marketing Association, she stays engaged in industry trends and best practices.

Based in Seiad Valley, CA, Erica is passionate about workforce development for nontraditional and first-generation students, as well as creating opportunities for rural communities. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, restoring antique furniture, working on her homestead, and traveling.
