Empowering Communities Through Workforce and Tourism Development
Prince Sabena joined Golden Shovel Agency in March 2025, bringing a global perspective and a deep passion for empowering communities through workforce development and tourism. In his role, Prince contributes to strategies that align with Golden Shovel’s mission of supporting economic growth through innovative digital solutions. His work is grounded in a strong foundation of leadership, community impact, and entrepreneurship.
Prince previously served as Executive Director of the Nansana Oasis Community Training Centre in Uganda, where he launched and led a workforce development and business incubation program designed to tackle youth unemployment in low-income communities. He raised funding to establish the program, developed a practical skills-based curriculum, and helped bridge the gap between education and employability for high school and university graduates.
In addition to his community development work, Prince specializes in tourism development. He has implemented successful SEO, social media, copywriting, and email marketing campaigns for Red Road Tours, promoting safari travel experiences to global audiences. His leadership extends to the boardroom—he sits on the boards of Vista Bean and Jenga Coffee, where his work helped grow a co-op of 3,300 coffee farmers and introduce specialty-grade Ugandan coffee to U.S. markets.
Prince holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and completed an entrepreneurship training program. He speaks four languages fluently and has represented tourism and community ventures at trade shows across Europe and the United States. Whether selling destinations like Peru, Chile, and Iceland or collaborating with partners worldwide, Prince brings cultural fluency, adaptability, and a strategic mindset to every project he touches.
