Financing for Underserved Communities

There are a variety of tools in the development finance toolbox that can encourage investment in traditionally underserved communities and businesses in Texas. Tax Credits have been used by both state and federal government as a method to influence businesses to take certain actions that positively impact underserved areas. During this session, speakers will discuss tools, such as tax credits, revolving loan funds, and other financing strategies to expand access to capital for underserved communities.
