Economic Development Sessions with Nathan Ohle featuring EDA Assistant Secretary Alejandra Castillo

The Economic Development Sessions will be a series of fireside chats between leading economic development officials, thought leaders and experts and IEDC’s president and CEO Nathan Ohle, focused on the evolving role of economic development in driving equitable economic outcomes. Each session will highlight the key contributions, challenges and opportunities of a specific focus area of economic development or federal program, layered with insights from what is taking place in communities across the country. The Economic Development Sessions will offer economic development practitioners and stakeholders compelling ideas and thought-provoking concepts on how best to leverage economic development resources in their communities that lead to economic prosperity. This session will give EDA Assistant Secretary Castillo the opportunity to highlight her agency's role in leading the federal economic development agenda, and help set the tone for the agency’s role in the future of economic development conversations.
