Erica Franks

Erica Franks, Gatekeeper Client Manager, has been with Golden Shovel since August of 2023. Her past experience includes a Marketing Specialist role where she focused on SEO and Google Ad Grants for nonprofits in addition to working as a freelance marketer, completing projects for social media management, content marketing, and consulting services. Erica has certificates in Email Marketing and Project Management and is currently working on her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from CSU Chico.

Erica’s day-to-day responsibilities include being the point of contact for Golden Shovel’s economic development organization clients. She discusses with them how their websites are performing in relation to their goals and what improvements or updates can be made. She also suggests and creates new content to help the website perform the best it can. Erica has a passion for small business and creating local jobs, so she enjoys helping the communities she works with grow.

Erica is currently located in Red Bluff, CA, surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountains. She enjoys hiking with her family and blue heeler pup, exploring Lassen National Park, Mt. Shasta, and the Redwood Coast. She has also refinished furniture for many years, mostly working with mid-century style wood pieces, and dabbled in reselling kitschy vintage Western clothing. The more funky the better!
