Rachel McDonnell

Rachel McDonnell, Copywriter, has been with Golden Shovel Agency since February 2019. Rachel has experience writing SEO articles, website creation/    maintenance, IT support, and graphic design. She also has an AFA in Music & Vocal Performance from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and a Masters in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from St. Cloud State University.

Rachel’s day-to-day responsibilities include writing content for clients, especially as they are just beginning services with Golden Shovel. Rachel helps them share their message and explain different ways visitors can navigate around their new website. Rachel’s favorite project so far has been working on the graphics and presentations for a few of the Economic Development Awards projects.

Rachel’s favorite thing about working with economic development organizations is seeing how places and organizations help out businesses, both big and small. She has always wanted to help from the bottom up, so it is exciting for her to see these organizations really try and help the little guy succeed.

Rachel is currently located in Foreston, MN. Outside of work, her hobbies include writing, singing, graphic design, gardening, and recently got into Tarot.
