Tracy, Calif. – The City of Tracy’s Economic Development Division just launched a comprehensive new website to encourage job growth and make the decision to bring your business and family to work, play and live “inside the triangle” simple and more streamlined. The site,, was created to provide access to resources for community members, as well as site selectors and businesses considering coming to Tracy.

“The website is a key component of our strategic effort to refresh the City’s brand, enhance community engagement and attract new businesses to Tracy,” stated Mayor Robert Rickman. “We encourage the public to browse our economic development website to discover why Tracy is the premiere location to start or relocate your business.”

The online portal features timely economic development information and news. It has an array of pertinent details about topics such as permitting, demographics and business incentives. The user-friendly site aims to streamline business decisions and development.

The City of Tracy selected Golden Shovel Agency to design the website, a national economic development communications firm recognized for its award-winning design and expertise in business and workforce attraction.

“It was a pleasure to work with the City of Tracy to develop this cutting-edge website. It promises to be a valuable tool for promoting this growing region,” said Aaron Brossoit, CEO of Golden Shovel.

The City of Tracy’s Economic Development Division seeks to create a diversified and sustainable economic base for the community. It promotes and pursues commercial, industrial and office development and supports existing, expanding and new businesses.
