WEDA Academy: Basics of Tax Icrement

This WEDA Academy virtual webinar - Basics of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) - provides a comprehensive overview of TIF in Wisconsin, including what it is, how it works, and why it is used in communities across the state. An explanation of TIF rules and how TIF can effectively be implemented will be provided, including how to create a TIF district, types of districts, process requirements, and eligible and prohibited TIF project costs.
