September 13, 2021•8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Time: 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Airports --- commercial, logistics, local --- are important economic development assets for any region. They enable local businesses to be competitive, provide jobs for residents of the region, and promote travel and tourism as a key industry cluster. Ohio is the home to many different types of airport operations, including commercial airports, intermodal / logistics facilities, and local airports in each of the state’s 88 counties. This webinar will provide participants with an overview of airport economic development strategies, case studies of how communities have engaged their airports in their economic development strategies, and some nuts-and-bolts about how airports operate and their needs.
