I hope that Spring sun has found its way to your communities and warmed up your sites and businesses for some successful economic development. Golden Shovel has been hot this first quarter despite a few de-icings in Minnesota. Here are the latest updates:
-Golden Shovel reached a major mile marker of launching over 100 websites. We are now successfully helping economic developers in thirteen states. Thank you to our clients for the great support back! Latest site launches include:
-We have begun initial planning on the Montana Economic Gateway, a statewide economic development portal. Thank you to the leadership from the Montana Economic Development Association, it has been great working with you.
-Our Economic Gateway websites received some exciting new features including automated updating for community data, public submission forms for the Real Estate and Calendar modules and soon the Business Directory and News too.
-The GateKeeper Service got an overhaul this first quarter with a new social media approach that will better connect the goals and strategies of our clients with their targeted audiences. Current clients will see this implemented over the next few months.
-Our monthly expert webinars have been more popular than ever with presentations by:
- Denny Henson of Map-N-Tour showcasing 3D mapping
- Janyce Fadden of JBFadden Enterprises sharing a brilliant approach to managing economic development organizations.
- Upcoming Webinar - Calandra Cruickshank, President of StateBook International will be presenting this month, April 22nd 1 - 2 pm CST. If you wish to attend you can do so at no charge. Click here to register.
In the end we know economic development is about relationships and those relationships guide our business. Thank you again to all of our clients and many supporters.
