An economic development program at the University of Texas at San Antonio has helped client companies generate $1.6 billion in business growth during fiscal year 2013.
It is the second straight year that UTSA’s Institute for Economic Development (IED) has seen its clients exceed the $1 billion threshold in growth. That includes $1.26 billion in increased sales, contracts and exports and $350 million in new capital.
