Golden Shovel will be on hand to share business attraction and retention strategies during the 2016 Mid America Competitiveness Conference.

Chicago will once again be hosting the Mid-America Annual Economic Development Conference on December 4 - 6, 2016. This competitive conference and site selector forum always brings great economic development ideas and professionals together.

Harry Moser, Founder and President of the Reshoring Initiative will open discussions with reshoring, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). He will highlight the benefit of local manufacturing versus offshore.

“Business attraction and retention is one of the cornerstones of economic development and a hot topic among our clients,” said Aaron Brossoit, CEO of Golden Shovel. “I believe Mr. Moser’s offshore presentation will be informative and I look forward to hearing his perspective.”

Golden Shovel Agency has been attending the Mid-America Annual conference in Chicago for the last six years and the Golden Shovel team looks forward to once again capping the year off with economic development professionals. And, as an additional incentive to attend, walking along Michigan Avenue during the holiday season is a wonderful experience.
