Brossoit To Present The Power of Economic Development Communication at APPA November 8th

APPA’s 2016 Customer Connections Conference will focus on leveraging customer engagement.
Nashville, TN –- Utilities play a unique role in the economic development industry as supporters, advocates, stakeholders and innovators. On Tuesday, November 8th, Golden Shovel CEO Aaron Brossoit will showcase the efforts of successful utility companies to engage site selectors and business owners.
Brossoit’s presentation “Powering Up Your Economic Development Communications” will demonstrate how utility companies are getting noticed, promoting their assets and connecting with economic development organizations in their territory.
“Utility companies often can be the main organizers in a regional economic development communications strategy,” said Brossoit. “These companies are influencers for their service territories.”
Matt Shermoen, Eastern Territory Manager for Golden Shovel Agency, will also be attending the conference. Matt continues to work with economic development professionals to sharpen their workforce attraction marketing and overall economic development communications strategy.
