Golden Shovel is headed to New Orleans for the 2016 IEDC Leadership Summit

NEW ORLEANS, LA, January 21, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is holding their 2016 Leadership Summit in New Orleans, January 24-26. Golden Shovel will have a good presence with both Aaron Brossoit, Chief Executive Officer, and John Marshall, Vice President of Sales, attending this year.

With the theme of "Resilient Communities: Pathways to Diverse Economies & Innovative Ecosystems", IEDC will review the latest trends and hot topics in the economic development field and challenge leaders to think anew about the meaning of resiliency. At the same time, they will also explore the partnerships communities must develop, the latest techniques to improve EDO performance, and the leadership role in achieving economic growth. The event starts on Sunday the 24th and ends on the 26th. Sunday and Monday will be filled with numerous concurrent sessions and workshops and there will also be some valuable networking and receptions for the attendees to participate in.
