News from the COO's desk - June 2015
Monday, June 01, 2015
Summer has arrived despite May bringing a host of bizarre weather for seemingly everyone. After attending the Mid America conference in Omaha and more recently the EDAM conference in Duluth, MN I can report that spirits are high in the industry and more opportunities are presenting themselves. There is still a strong focus towards workforce attraction and many of our current projects are being positioned to attract talent. Here are updates from May:
We recently launched websites in Upton, WY that represent the economic development group, the city and the chamber. All three sites share the same design and are connected together to allow for the sharing of data and news. Check them out!

We are looking forward to an excellent expert webinar on Wednesday, June 17. Janet Ady, President & CEO of Ady Voltedge will be presenting the megatrends that are happening in the industry and how communities of any size can position themselves for success. It will be a full house, so if you have not registered yet, signup here.
There are still a few positions open with the Golden Shovel team. We are looking for a qualified designer, programmer and a client service representative. We want candidates that understand and appreciate working with a great team in a virtual environment. Find out more on our website at goldenshovel.com/about-us/join-our-team
As I write this, June is already picking up speed. I wish you all many successful deals and in between, some successful vacationing.
